Snow Mittens

This card is made on white card stock with a layer of blue paper with glitter in it.

The mitten I draw and cut out after having embossed the white and red with a snowflake embossing folder.

All the snowflakes are made using craft punches.

DS4J Christmas Challenge December

The digital image for December is one of  We 3 Kings.

Here is the card I made with the image.
I used a music sheet I found on Internet earlier.
Printed it out with the King in the corner after I had mirrored the image.
Printed the King on white paper and coloured with markers and
Sakura Gelly Roll pens
Cut him out and glued him to the music sheet.
Used some sparkly stickers and mounted all on the green base card.

This was the last month for this challenge and it has been a big help
when it came to the time to send Christmas cards to already have so many made.

Thanks to DigiStamps4Joy for running the challenge for us.

DS4J Christmas Challenge November

The images for November month are two Christmas Tags.
I printed the tags out and coloured them with water colouring pencils.
Added the tags to the card with a red ribbon bow.
Lots of punched snowflakes to finish off the card
The snow couple on the bench is stitched on the card using silk embroidery floss.
The pattern comes from Bergkaarten in Netherlands
and is called "Sneeuwpoppen op bank".

One more month and a year has gone and we all have at least
12 cards made for Christmas. This has been so good to take part in for me
as I usually start panic this time of the year.
Now I have a good start and only a few more cards to make for myself.

Swans in a heart

This is a bobbin lace design by Martine Bruggemann.
I used Bocken's Linen thread no 60/2 for the lace.

Scarf and wrist warmers

This red scarf and wrist warmers are knitted.
I cast on to the width I want and knit 4 stitches, purl 4, knit 4 a.s.o. for 4 rows.
Then 4 purl, 4 knit, 4 purl a.s.o. until the lengths I want.
This give a nice texture to the items.
